The Building Scalable Cisco Internetworks (BSCI 642-901) is a qualifying exam for the Cisco Certified Network Professional CCNP®, Cisco Certified Design Professional CCDP®, and Cisco Certified Internetwork Professional CCIP™ certifications. After passing the 642-901 exam, you have three certification directions to select: the first is to get the CCNP certification which requires you to take another three related exams (642-812,642-825,642-845); the second is to get the CCIP certification which requires you to take another three related exams (642-661,642-611,642-642), of course you can only take the comprehensive exam of 642-691 to replace 642-661 and 642-611; the third is to get the CCDP certification which requires you to take another two related exams (642-812,642-873).
